“Hoa Lu Brocade” - Recreating Vietnamese traditional costumes in heritage space

On the evening of April 30, at Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourist area, Ninh Hai commune, Hoa Lu city, the program "Hoa Lu brocade" took place to spread the image of Vietnamese ancient costumes to a large number of people and tourists.

This is a large-scale traditional costume show in Ninh Binh with the participation of professional researchers and makers of traditional costumes. Dozens of actors from many different units also participated in the show, contributing to bringing Vietnamese costumes closer to the public at home and abroad.

“Hoa Lu Brocade” takes viewers through the heroic historical pages of the nation, recreated through costumes of each period. Attending the event, the audience was able to admire many unique ancient costumes such as: Mo ba mo bay, Tu than, Ngu than tay tay constricted, Ngu than tay thong loose, King and Queen, Minh Nhan Nhu nhan, Doi kham ban ti, Giao linh, Vien linh ban ti, Dieu Tinh phu nhan, Tu Khoan Can nhan, Nguyen Quan Nho, Vuong hau Tran, Bach bao vua, Bach bao hau, King Ly, Dinh - Tien Le costumes...

Along with factors such as customs, festivals, etc., costumes have contributed significantly to the uniqueness of Vietnamese culture. With each passing dynasty, costumes are changed and improved to be suitable, containing the cultural features of that period.
