Hanoi streets are clear, people are leisurely enjoying the holiday

This year's April 30th and May 1st holiday lasted five days, leading many people to choose to return to their hometowns or travel further afield, which somewhat resulted in Hanoi's streets being less crowded and less congested than usual.

Observations at several roads previously considered "hot spots" for traffic congestion in Hanoi , such as Truong Chinh, Nguyen Trai, and Le Van Luong, show that traffic has been relatively smooth these days.

At the Kim Lien tunnel entrance, traffic volume has decreased significantly, eliminating the congestion and traffic jams seen during peak hours.

The scene at the Le Van Luong underpass during the holidays presented a different feeling compared to usual. While on normal weekday mornings, this area is often congested for extended periods, today both directions of traffic are flowing smoothly.

In the city center, especially on pedestrian streets around Hoan Kiem Lake such as Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Thai To, the usual crowds and congestion seen during previous holidays were no longer observed.

The area became more spacious, the pace of life slowed down, and the number of people flocking to it decreased significantly, creating a peaceful atmosphere, a stark contrast to the usual hustle and bustle during major holidays.

On early mornings during holidays, Hanoi residents leisurely exercise around Hoan Kiem Lake in the fresh, peaceful air.

The lingering memories of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country remain in the hearts of people nationwide, like a heroic and deeply moving symphony.

For many tourists, the April 30th and May 1st holidays are not only a time for relaxation but also a special opportunity to deeply feel the national spirit.
