Military Security Department marches to the source
On June 18, a working delegation of the Military Security Protection Department (General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army) led by Major General Bui Trong Vinh, Director of the Military Security Protection Department, organized a journey to the source at the National Relic Site of the 5-door Tunnel in Dinh Bien commune, Dinh Hoa district, Thai Nguyen province.

At the National Relic Site of the 5-Door Tunnel - where General Nguyen Chi Thanh and the General Department of Politics lived and worked during the period 1950 - 1954, the delegation offered incense to commemorate and express their respect and gratitude for the great contributions to the revolutionary cause of General Nguyen Chi Thanh and generations of cadres of the General Department of Politics.
The delegation offered incense in memory at the National Monument of the 5-door Tunnel.
The delegation learned about the tradition of the General Department of Politics and the tradition of the Military Security Protection Department at the National Monument of the 5-door Tunnel.
After 75 years of building, fighting and growing, under the leadership of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense , the General Department of Politics, the coordination, support and facilitation of agencies and units inside and outside the Army, of local authorities and people, especially the authorities and people of Dinh Bien commune, Dinh Hoa district, Thai Nguyen province, generations of officers, soldiers and employees of the Army Security Protection Sector have achieved many outstanding feats, building the tradition of "Loyalty, dedication, intelligence, creativity, solidarity, discipline, coordination, actively protecting oneself, proactively attacking the enemy". The journey to the source is a meaningful activity towards the 75th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Army Security Protection Department and the Army Security Protection Sector (July 20, 1950 / July 20, 2025).

With the tradition of drinking water, remembering the source, and showing deep gratitude, the working delegation of the Military Security Department expressed deep gratitude to the Party Committee, government and people of Dinh Bien commune for helping the unit in recent years. On this occasion, the Military Security Department presented 30 gifts to policy families, poor households, and disadvantaged but excellent students of Dinh Bien commune and sent the gifts to the People's Committee of Dinh Bien commune, Dinh Hoa district, Thai Nguyen province.
