In recent years, the Vietnamese tourism industry has proactively promoted its activities in the Italian market. According to statistics, the number of Italian tourists to Vietnam has grown impressively in recent years.

Specifically, in 2024, nearly 89,000 Italian visitors came to Vietnam, an increase of 56% compared to 2023. In the first 3 months of 2025 alone, Vietnam welcomed nearly 32,000 Italian visitors, an increase of 29% over the same period last year. The above figures show that the need to explore and travel of Italian tourists to Vietnam is increasingly receiving more attention.
The program introduced special tourism products, designed specifically to suit the needs and interests of Italian tourists such as heritage - cultural tourism products with historical in-depth experiences in Hanoi , Hue, Hoi An, Ninh Binh; Discovering traditional craft villages, folk festivals, and the quintessence of national art; Community and ecological tourism products in Sa Pa, Ha Giang; Discovering the river region of Can Tho and the Mekong Delta; Experiencing sustainable rural tourism in the Central region....
In addition, beach resort - golf - yacht tourism products: Resorts at beaches in Phu Quoc, Nha Trang, Da Nang, Quy Nhon; combining golf activities, luxury yachts; Indochina tourism with experiences through journeys connecting Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia, exploring the depth of regional culture... were also introduced to many delegates at the program.

Speaking at the program, Director of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration Nguyen Trung Khanh affirmed that the Vietnam National Tourism Administration highly values the Italian market not only for its potential in quantity but also for the quality of tourists. This is a group of tourists with high spending levels, prioritizing sustainable development, respecting local identity and favoring personalized, emotional journeys.

On the same day, a program connecting Vietnamese and Italian tourism businesses took place. At the program, businesses from both sides met, interacted, exchanged, shared, updated tourism information, and sought investment opportunities, established business cooperation relationships, and attracted tourist exchanges.
