Working in Lao Cai, the Monitoring Team provided technical support for treatment implementation activities for HIV/AIDS patients; updated information on management of antiretroviral drugs (ARV) on the health insurance appraisal portal; reporting on ARV drug estimates on HMED software; progress in receiving and ensuring the supply of price-negotiated drugs (TLD, TLE400); using ARV drugs from centralized bidding of health insurance sources in 2023 and progress in implementing ARV drug contracts for the period 2024 - 2025; orientation for purchasing ARV drugs in 2025 for use from 2026; discussed difficulties and obstacles in ensuring the supply of ARV drugs and proposed solutions to overcome them.
