Coc San develops green, sustainable agricultural economy associated with digital transformation

After merging into a two-level local government model, the Coc San Commune Farmers' Association now has 20 affiliated branches. During the past term, the Association has promoted its central and core role in agricultural and forestry development, new rural construction and sustainable poverty reduction. By 2025, the average income will reach 50 million VND/person; the poverty rate will decrease to 2.1%; the rate of workers with regular jobs will reach over 85%; and the health insurance coverage rate will reach 95.2%.

Performance by farmers' association members.

The Association has done a good job in entrusting loans, with a total outstanding loan balance of 16.6 billion VND, helping hundreds of member households access capital to develop production and business. Well-off and wealthy households have supported poor households with capital, working days, plants, and seeds with a total value of hundreds of millions of VND. Every year, 100% of the branches are classified as good or better, and the Commune Farmers' Association is continuously assessed as having completed its tasks well.

The movement of farmers competing in good production and business has developed strongly with 335 households achieving the title of good farmers in production and business at all levels.

Farmers' Association members also actively participate in building the Party, the government and the great national unity bloc. During the term, the Association introduced 15 outstanding members to the Party Committee for consideration and admission; members donated more than 2,500 working days and 3,000 square meters of land to build new rural areas. The movement "All people protect national security" was strongly responded by members, contributing to the reconciliation of more than 20 conflicts at the grassroots level.

Thanks to promoting their role as the main subject, farmers in Coc San commune have become the core force in agricultural development and new rural construction. By 2025, all three communes before the merger have basically achieved and maintained the new rural criteria: Dong Tuyen commune has met the advanced new rural standards; Coc San commune has met 15/19 criteria; Tong Sanh commune has met 8/19 criteria.

Launching the Executive Committee of the Farmers' Association of Coc San commune, term I, 2025 - 2030.

At the Congress, the Resolution for the 2025-2030 term was passed with the goal of building a strong and comprehensive Coc San Commune Farmers' Association, a reliable support for members and farmers. The Association strives to admit 20-22 new members each year; establish 3 professional associations and 1 professional branch; by 2030, at least 80% of members will be equipped with digital knowledge and skills; 100% of branches will complete their tasks well or better.

Two breakthrough tasks were identified: improving the quality of the Association's staff and proactively participating in the development of a green, sustainable agricultural economy associated with digital transformation.

Comrade Chao Hung Phay was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Coc San commune for the 2025-2030 term.

At the Congress, the Standing Committee of the Farmers' Association of the commune announced the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Chairman and Vice Chairmen of the first term. Comrade Chao Hung Phay was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Coc San commune for the 2025 - 2030 term.
