The General Statistics Office works in Bac Ninh on implementing the 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census

By May 7, the province had surveyed 211,525 households, of which 59,736 were engaged in agriculture, forestry and fishery, reaching 28.24%. The list-making work was carried out on schedule, in accordance with professional procedures, and the information collected was complete, accurate and reflected the reality of the area. Direct supervision at the site and online supervision via software were enhanced, promptly detecting and handling errors, improving the quality of information.

At the meeting, delegates focused on discussing and clarifying the implementation progress of each locality, difficulties and obstacles in the process of organizing and implementing the general census in the context of economic restructuring and administrative unit mergers...

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan sincerely thanked the Department of Statistics for their attention and support, creating a foundation for the province to build a suitable development orientation in the past time. Regarding the implementation of the 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census in the area, the province clearly identified the importance of this work, thereby focusing on directing the implementation with the highest sense of responsibility, along with the active and responsible participation of localities, units and teams of investigators in accordance with the instructions of the Central Steering Committee. Up to now, all contents on organization, direction, training, propaganda and making lists have been implemented synchronously and seriously. Bac Ninh province aims to complete the rural and agricultural census no later than May 27.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Statistics Office to continue reviewing and supplementing the subjects of investigation and information collection; improve the capacity of the grassroots investigation team, ensuring the highest quality data; assign the Department of Finance to advise and ensure funding. Bac Ninh strives to complete the most complete and accurate General Census, contributing to helping the province build a socio-economic development direction in the new term. Hopefully, in the coming time, it will continue to receive the coordination, guidance, assistance and facilitation of the Statistics Office so that Bac Ninh can have an accurate, comprehensive and comprehensive assessment, contributing to the completion of the province's double-digit growth target.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Huong, Director of the General Statistics Office, Deputy Head of the Central Steering Committee for the 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census, accepted the opinions and recommendations of the province, and requested the province to continue to urge and direct the whole system, contributing to the overall success of the national Census.

Previously, the Working Group worked with the People's Committee of Bac Ninh city and supervised the field investigators interviewing and recording household lists in the General Census of Rural and Agricultural Affairs in Hoa Long ward.
