Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department changes senior leadership

According to information from the General Department of Taxation, the Ministry of Finance has just issued a decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Vu Xuan Bach, Deputy General Director of the General Department of Taxation, to the position of Deputy General Director of the General Department of State Reserves (DTNN) and assigned the Acting General Director of the General Department of DTNN from June 20.

Previously, in November 2022, Mr. Vu Xuan Bach was assigned by the Ministry of Finance to be in charge of the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department after Mr. Le Duy Minh, former Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department, was transferred to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to prepare for a new assignment as Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Finance.

Up to now, after Mr. Bach took on the new assignment, the General Department of Taxation has issued a decision to assign Mr. Thai Minh Giao, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department, to be in charge of this agency until the department director position is completed.

At the same time, the General Department of Taxation also decided to transfer and appoint Mr. Giang Van Hien to the position of Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department. Before being appointed, Mr. Hien was Deputy Director of the Tax Inspection and Examination Department (General Department of Taxation) from March 2021.

Thus, currently, the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department has 3 deputy directors: Mr. Thai Minh Giao, Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung and Mr. Giang Van Hien. In which, Mr. Thai Minh Giao is the deputy director in charge of the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department.
