Emulation cluster No. 1 of the Fatherland Front did well in the emulation movement.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) in Emulation Cluster No. 1 includes Da Lat City, Bao Loc, and Duc Trong District - these are key areas of the province. In 2023, implementing the program of coordinated and unified action, the VFF in the Cluster seriously and effectively implemented the tasks of the Front, the Party's guidelines and resolutions, the State's policies and laws, and local political tasks.

According to the assessment of the Fatherland Front Committee of Da Lat City - the cluster leader, the Front and members of the Emulation Cluster No. 1 have coordinated well in organizing propaganda activities, mobilizing cadres, civil servants, party members, union members, association members, and outstanding people of all ethnic groups, religions, and all walks of life to trust, agree, and implement the Party's policies and the State's laws. Attracting a large number of people to participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, contributing to the completion of socio -economic development goals and tasks, maintaining national defense and security stability in Da Lat City, Bao Loc, and Duc Trong District.

In particular, the Cluster has focused on implementing Conclusion No. 01 dated May 18, 2021 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive No. 05 of the Politburo (12th Tenure) on promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle" according to the 2023 theme. That is "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle on the responsibility of setting an example; resolutely and synchronously leading and directing economic, cultural and social development to contribute to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 11th Lam Dong Provincial Party Congress", associated with the implementation of the Resolution of the 4th meeting of the 12th Party Central Committee on "Strengthening Party building and rectification; preventing and repelling the degradation of political ideology, morality, lifestyle, manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within the Party".

Step up propaganda and mobilize religious people to properly implement the Party and State's policies on religion and ethnicity; encourage religious dignitaries, followers, village elders, and prestigious people to actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, movements, and campaigns launched by the Front, attracting a large number of religious followers and people to participate.

Implementing the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas - civilized urban areas", Da Lat City has registered 68 typical residential areas and 53 model residential areas; conducted appraisal of "Typical residential areas", "Model residential areas" in implementing the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas" in 16 wards and communes, thereby proposing the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province to recognize 20 model residential areas, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city to recognize 24 typical residential areas.

In Bao Loc City, 25 typical residential areas and 23 model residential areas have been registered; "Typical residential areas" and "Model residential areas" have been assessed in the implementation of the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" in 11 wards and communes, thereby proposing the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province to recognize 19 model residential areas, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city to recognize 21 typical residential areas.

In Duc Trong district, 21 typical residential areas and 30 model residential areas have been registered; "Typical residential areas" and "Model residential areas" have been assessed in the implementation of the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", thereby proposing the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province to recognize 9 model residential areas, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district to recognize 4 typical residential areas.

The work of mobilizing the collection of "Fund for the Poor" has been implemented with attention by units in the Emulation Cluster, achieving and exceeding the targets assigned by the Provincial Fatherland Front. Da Lat City has handed over and put into use 7 Great Solidarity houses with a total cost of 745 million VND; thereby promptly encouraging the subjects to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

In Duc Trong district, support was given to build 37 new houses, repair 1 Great Solidarity house; support 3 students to light up their dreams, 2 patients with serious illnesses... with a total amount of over 3.9 billion VND. In Bao Loc city, support was given to build 5 new houses, repair 6 Great Solidarity houses with a total value of nearly 600 million VND.

Contributing to building the Party and a strong government, the Fatherland Front of 3 units has performed well the role of supervision, criticism, and promotion of democratic rights among the People. Besides the achieved results, Emulation Cluster No. 1 also pointed out some limitations such as: Propaganda and mobilization work for people to participate in implementing some key tasks on socio-economic development in some localities is not regular; grasping the situation among the people in some places is not regular and timely. The implementation of partial works, environmental protection models, bright-green-clean-beautiful models, cooperative models in economic development still faces financial difficulties, the replication of typical models is sometimes not synchronous, not practical and effective...

To further promote the role of Emulation Cluster No. 1, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Pham Trieu requested units in the Cluster to focus on organizing congresses and implementing the resolutions of the Vietnam Fatherland Front from district to commune levels effectively. Increase meetings, contacts, and dialogues with prominent religious dignitaries and prominent people of ethnic groups, grasp the situation, gather thoughts, aspirations, opinions, and recommendations, and promptly report to Party committees and authorities. Continue to promote the effective implementation of coordination programs to promote the role of religions in participating in forest management, protection, development, environmental protection, and response to climate change, maintaining security and order, traffic safety, socializing preschool education, health care, vocational training, and social assistance; focus on improving the quality and effectiveness of the movement, focusing on building "Typical residential areas", "Model residential areas"...
