Localities in Lam Dong join hands to support people in flood-affected areas

Responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, localities in Lam Dong province simultaneously launched a fundraising movement to support people in the Northern and North Central provinces affected by storm No. 10 (Bualoi).

Accordingly, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cat Tien 3 commune organized a campaign for all cadres, civil servants, public employees of agencies, units and people in the area to join hands to support people in the Northern and North Central provinces who suffered damage caused by storm No. 10 (Bualoi).

With the spirit of mutual love and support, "the whole leaves cover the torn leaves", the launch aims to call for sharing from the community to help people in disaster areas quickly overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives with an amount of more than 23.5 million VND.

The Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cat Tien 2 commune also launched a fundraising campaign to support the people of the Central region affected by storm No. 10 (Bualoi) with a total amount of more than 22 million VND.

On the same day, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Teh 3 commune also launched agencies, units, schools, medical stations and all cadres, civil servants, workers and armed forces soldiers in the area to participate in supporting and helping people in disaster areas to quickly overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives with a total amount of more than 123.8 million VND.

Previously, on the afternoon of October 7, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tien Thanh Ward ( Lam Dong ) organized a fundraising ceremony to support people in provinces and cities affected by storm No. 10.

Right at the launch, the total amount of direct support reached more than 49 million VND. All of this money will be transferred to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province to promptly support people in the disaster-stricken areas to overcome the consequences and soon stabilize their lives.

This is a meaningful and timely activity, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, mutual love as well as the deep affection of the Party Committee, government and people of Lam Dong province towards their compatriots who are heavily affected by storms and floods, contributing to easing the pain and loss caused by natural disasters.
