Ha Long University signed and established a strategic cooperation relationship with Sun Group in the Northern region in training and recruitment.

Quang Ninh has about 13,000 operating enterprises, contributing greatly to the socio -economic growth of the province, in which the "nucleus" are industrial, service, tourism enterprises... In order for Resolution 68-NQ/TW on private economic development to soon come into life, the province has urgently issued Plan No. 547-KH/TU, setting out 5 specific goals (4 goals by 2030 and 1 goal by 2045); 8 groups of tasks and solutions and 9 tasks chaired by the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee and the Provincial People's Council Party Committee.

One of the important tasks and solutions is to improve the quality of human resources for the private economy. Specifically, the province focuses resources on developing a network of high-quality universities, colleges, vocational training facilities, and key industries in which the province has strengths (tourism, services, processing and manufacturing industries, etc.). In particular, priority is given to investing in developing schools such as Ha Long University, Quang Ninh University of Industry, Quang Ninh Vietnam - Korea College, Quang Ninh Medical College, etc. to become centers for training quality human resources to meet the needs of private economic development in the province; encourage the development of joint training programs with foreign countries, replicate and transfer advanced training programs to serve private economic development.

In recent years, with professional training programs approaching international standards, students studying Tourism ; Tourism and Travel Services Management; Hotel Management; Restaurant and Catering Services Management... at Ha Long University are equipped with a good knowledge base. In particular, through internship programs and internal training programs with the support of businesses, students experience and cultivate situation handling skills, professional communication skills in an international environment, as well as work attitude and professional ethics. According to statistics, the rate of students having jobs within 6 months after graduation is over 80%.
