The "Ethnic Colors" contest in Bac Binh district.

Recently, the Vietnam Youth Union Committee of Bac Binh district organized the 3rd "Ethnic Colors" competition in Bac Binh district in 2023 with the theme "Bac Binh Youth Join Hands for Digital Transformation in Building New Rural Areas". The competition attracted a large number of officials, union members, association members, and young people from the district's Youth Union emulation clusters and grassroots Youth Union branches in Bac Binh district.

Traditional costume performance

Accordingly, the competing teams participated in two parts: Stage Performance (singing, dancing, skits) and Traditional Costume Showcase. The performances included songs praising the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, the homeland, and the country, as well as folk dances and traditional musical instruments; the skits focused on the theme of youth digital transformation… In the traditional costume showcase, the teams showcased many unique and distinctive cultural features of each ethnic group such as the Cham, Raglay, and Tay… Through these performances, the ethnic identity and unique features of the traditional costumes of the ethnic groups in the district were authentically and vividly recreated by the teams. At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded many prizes in both parts to the teams with the best performances.

Awards were presented to the outstanding performances.

The competition created a fun and healthy cultural playground for youth union members and association members, especially those from ethnic minority groups. It also provided an opportunity for members to preserve and promote the fine traditional values ​​of their ethnic groups; to promote and introduce the tangible and intangible cultural values ​​of the ethnic groups in Bac Binh district. This, in turn, created a unique characteristic of the ethnic groups in Bac Binh district in particular and Binh Thuan province in general, aiming to preserve and promote the value of traditional cultural heritage and contribute to building new rural areas.
