Competition to practice cultural lifestyle associated with environmental protection in Thoi Binh district

In order to promote the Movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" associated with building new rural areas and civilized urban areas in Thoi Binh district, since mid-2024, the District People's Committee has launched a contest to implement a cultural lifestyle associated with environmental protection in the Movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" with the following contents: Family routes with green, clean and beautiful landscapes (each commune and town registers from 02 to 03 family routes); Bright - green - clean - beautiful routes (each commune and town registers at least 01 route).

During the launching period, 32 households and 29 roads were registered by communes and towns to participate in the contest. With the determination to change and the participation of the whole community, the movement to preserve the landscape and environment green, clean and beautiful did not stop at a contest, but was truly maintained, expanded, creating a positive cultural feature, in line with the contest's goals. Local people joined hands to create bright - green - clean - beautiful roads, some donated land to build rural traffic roads, some contributed money and working days to contribute to concreting the roads. In addition, each person and each household kept clean, cleaned up their gardens, and planted green hedges in front of their houses. Since then, bright - green - clean - beautiful roads have stretched straight across the localities of Thoi Binh district.

By the end of February 2025, the Organizing Committee of the contest had selected 12 households and 06 roads to award prizes. In particular, the household routes with green - clean - beautiful landscapes include: Hamlet 9 (Tan Loc Bac commune); Hamlet Tan Cong (Tan Bang commune); Hamlet 3 (Tri Phai commune); Hamlet Cai San Ngoc (Bien Bach Dong commune); Hamlet 5 (Tan Loc commune); Hamlet Xom Moi (Bien Bach Dong commune); Hamlet 3 (Thoi Binh commune); Hamlet Truong Thoai (Bien Bach commune); Hamlet Kinh 5A (Tan Phu commune); Hamlet 6 (Tan Loc commune); Hamlet 6 (Tan Loc Dong commune); Hamlet 5 (Tri Luc commune). The bright - green - clean - beautiful roads include: Hamlet 8 (Tan Loc Bac commune); Hamlet 5 (Tri Phai commune); Hamlet 7 (Tan Loc Dong commune); Hamlet 8 (Tan Loc commune)… These are the most typical routes and streets that meet the criteria of landscape and green - clean - beautiful in Thoi Binh district.

The spread in the community from green hedges and flower roads has created a peaceful and bright beauty for the countryside. Moreover, the contest also contributed to creating positive changes in environmental protection for the people. Authorities, organizations at all levels and people join hands to improve the quality of the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" and build new rural areas, advanced new rural areas in Thoi Binh district.
