On the morning of October 10, at the Vietnam - Soviet Union Friendship Cultural Palace, the Hanoi City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee solemnly held the city's Patriotic Emulation Congress for the 2025-2030 period.

After more than 5 years of dedicated research and testing, the team of Dr. Dinh Viet Cuong, a lecturer at Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, has mastered the electrochemical battery technology (Battery Deionization - BDI) to develop the DIVION water treatment machine, marking an important step forward in the field of clean water treatment in Vietnam.
Dr. Dinh Viet Cuong affirmed that, not only stopping at water treatment efficiency, the research team also focuses on the product's life cycle, using recycled materials, environmentally friendly design and easy reuse after the end of the life cycle.
Prof. Dr. Dang Kim Chi - Chairman of the Jury Board of Sector 4 of the 2nd Hanoi City Technical Innovation Competition, assessed that the topic "Developing a water treatment machine using DIVION electrochemical battery technology towards the goal of Net Zero 2050" has a solid scientific basis, high creativity and applicability, especially suitable for the sustainable development strategy of the Capital and the whole country.

Speaking with a reporter from Hanoi Moi Newspaper, educational psychology expert and life skills consultant Nguyen Le Thuy said that when children become famous too early on social networks, they easily fall into a state of illusion about themselves.
“More dangerously, when clips receive negative, critical comments, children are very vulnerable to psychological trauma. Many children, when they are no longer praised as before, will feel disappointed, confused, withdrawn or develop in the wrong direction...”, Ms. Nguyen Le Thuy warned.

Unleashing scientific and technological resources for breakthrough development
From the awareness that “science, technology and innovation are the key to development”, the Hanoi People’s Council has concretized it with a series of strategic policies and resolutions. Notably, at the special session in September 2025, the City People’s Council issued important resolutions related to this field.
Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee and Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan said that the newly approved group of resolutions related to mechanisms and policies to promote the city's development of science, technology, and innovation to implement the provisions of the Capital Law 2024. This is also a step to concretize Resolution No. 57-NQ/TU dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation.
Director of the Hanoi Department of Science and Technology Tran Anh Tuan emphasized that these resolutions will help the capital effectively promote those resources for breakthrough development, maintaining the mission of leading and taking the lead, as assigned by General Secretary To Lam and the Politburo.
