Previously, on May 4, 2023, Ms. NTHT (residing in Bac Hong ward, Hong Linh town) was traveling on Nguyen Ai Quoc road in residential area 10, Bac Hong ward (Hong Linh town) when she was suddenly approached from behind by an unknown male suspect on a motorbike who snatched her gold necklace, worth approximately 40 million VND, from her neck.

The Police Investigation Agency of Hong Linh Town Police Department is taking statements from Phan Cong Hien.

After a period of gathering documents and evidence, the Hong Linh Town Police investigated and identified Phan Cong Hien (born in 1989) as the perpetrator of the crime.

After committing the robbery, Hien went into hiding in the southern provinces.

On May 10, 2023, the police of Hong Linh town, in coordination with other professional units, discovered that Phan Cong Hien was hiding in Ben Cat town, Binh Duong province.

Authorities arrested Hien and seized one motorcycle and several other related items and assets.

The investigation revealed that Phan Cong Hien had a history of debt and had moved to the southern provinces to live. During his time back home, he conceived the idea of ​​robbing NTHT of her gold necklace.

The case is being handled by the Hong Linh Town Police in accordance with the law.
