In the early morning of June 19, a fire broke out on the ground floor of house number 213/21 Nguyen Gia Tri Street, Ward 25, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City - a place that is used as a rental office and a residence. The fire quickly engulfed the entire ground floor of the house, creating thick smoke, threatening those sleeping soundly inside.

People discovered the fire and shouted and used mini fire extinguishers to put it out. The fire grew and spread so people could not control it.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force of Binh Thanh District, in coordination with Ward 25 Police, Ho Chi Minh City Police, mobilized many specialized fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire and search for people trapped inside.
The rescue team reached the area where people were trapped and successfully rescued two victims, including a female student and a man. Both were in a state of smoke inhalation and were brought out safely and given timely first aid.
At the scene, the entire ground floor of the house was completely burned down. The cause of the fire is being investigated by authorities.
