In his opening speech, Mr. Tran Thanh Hoai - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province emphasized: After 20 years of construction and development with the attention of the Party and the State, Dam Rong district has been invested in many programs and projects, so the infrastructure has been gradually completed and synchronized, the rural appearance has improved a lot, and the urban area has been gradually formed. Coming to Dam Rong today, it feels much closer because of the winding roads around the beautiful hills.
Truly, that mountainous region has changed to the point of amazement, surprising those who have been to Dam Rong in the past decades because of its astonishing development speed. After 20 years of establishment and development, Dam Ron land from a difficult countryside has now truly "changed its skin and flesh".
Life is a multi-colored, multi-faceted array of colors and the director must observe meticulously, delicately and sensitively to capture the emotions and precious images combined with the most vivid and impressive images to create films for the general public. Thereby affirming the important role of cinema in social life, cinema contributes to preserving the beauty of national culture, recording the emotions and colorful moments of life, promoting the image of Vietnam, the country and its people to international friends.

The Film Festival is an annual event organized by the Film Distribution and Screening Center, and for the first time held in Dam Rong district with the theme: "Dam Rong - Echoes of the mountains and forests" to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Dam Rong district with many attractive contents. Within the framework of the program, from October 22 to 26, Lam Dong Provincial Film Distribution and Screening Center will organize a film screening with the theme "Dam Rong Memories" and a Vietnamese film week to serve remote communes and ethnic minority areas in the district.

After the opening ceremony of the gala, the Organizing Committee of the Photo Contest "Dam Rong at 20" to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the founding of Dam Rong district awarded prizes to 11 winning works, including 1 most favorite work, 2 Second prizes, 3 Third prizes and 5 Encouragement prizes judged directly and voted on the fanpage.
