On the evening of March 20, from Korea, Mr. Nguyen Van Son - Vice Chairman of Da Lat City People's Committee - said that Da Lat received 3 awards at the Asia Festival Awards 2025 at the award ceremony that just took place.
Specifically, Da Lat with the Da Lat Flower Festival was honored by the Asian Festival Awards in the category "Asia Flower and Garden Festival of 2025" and Asia Pinnacle Awards.
In addition, Da Lat was also honored as "Best Eco-Friendly Festival" by the International Festival and Event Association Asia (IFEA Asia).
This is the second consecutive year that Da Lat has been honored at this international award. In a letter sent to the Da Lat City People's Committee, the Asian Festival Awards recognized that Da Lat has made many efforts over the years to build the image of a green, friendly and sustainable city, while strengthening its title as Asia's leading tourist destination.
The above award also recognizes the Da Lat Flower Festival as a typical cultural and tourism event of Lam Dong province, playing an important role in promoting the cultural values, nature and people of Da Lat - Lam Dong to domestic and international friends.
Not only honoring flowers and traditional floriculture, the festival is also a bridge between managers, businesses, farmers and partners in the fields of agriculture , tourism and services.
As of 2024, Lam Dong province has organized 10 Da Lat Flower Festivals to promote tourism and agricultural development in Da Lat.
