(LĐ online) - On January 10, the People's Committee of Da Lat City held a conference to summarize the work of building the Movement for the whole people to protect national security in the city in 2023.
In 2023, the work of building the National Movement to Protect National Security and ensuring security and order in Da Lat City was effectively implemented, mobilizing the combined strength of the entire political system and the People in performing the task of ensuring security and order, building the National Movement to Protect National Security. During the year, Da Lat City built 37 new models in the National Movement to Protect National Security... Currently, in the city, there are 17 types of models with 147 models in the National Movement to Protect National Security. Of which, the effective models currently maintained in the area, notably include: "Security Camera" model; "Traffic Safety School Gate" model, "Warning Bell" model, and Joint Patrol Team.

Along with that, the movement building work contributing to ensuring security and order was effectively deployed, the civil defense teams, residential areas, civil defense teams and self-governing mass organizations participating in preventing and combating crimes and social evils were consolidated and maintained in operation, thereby, the masses provided 263 crime-related reports to the police force, helping the police investigate and solve 218 criminal cases, mobilizing people to hand over and recover many types of weapons and explosives; building 155 inter-family fire prevention and fighting teams and 109 public fire fighting points; 203/204 villages, residential groups, 71 agencies, enterprises, andeducational institutions met the "Security and order safety" standard and nearly 90% of households registered to meet the safety and order safety standard.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing solutions in the work of building and maintaining the National Movement to protect national security in conjunction with other grassroots movements to mobilize the active participation of the entire population; the leadership of local Party committees and authorities in innovating the National Movement to protect national security and the National Movement to unite to build a cultural life...
In 2024, Da Lat City will focus on the guidance, urging and coordination of implementation by departments, branches, organizations, agencies, enterprises and educational institutions in the area to improve the quality, making the work of building the National Movement to protect national security truly widespread and of practical significance to the work of maintaining security and order in the area; pay attention to consolidating and building a team of cadres to do the work of building the movement with sufficient quantity and ensuring quality to improve the quality of the work of building the movement in the new situation as well as doing well the work of emulation and rewards to promptly motivate and encourage collectives and individuals to participate in the movement; creating the attraction of the movement for all classes of people.

On this occasion, 23 individuals were honored to receive the Commemorative Medal of the Ministry of Public Security , at the same time, 68 individuals and 70 collectives received Certificates of Merit from Lam Dong Provincial Police and Da Lat City People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in the 2023 National Movement to Protect National Security.
