In order to ensure the thoughtfulness, security and safety of welcoming and serving tourists in the city, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism requests Directors/Owner of tourism service establishments to seriously implement the following contents.
For all tourism service businesses in the city, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism requires strict compliance with legal regulations on tourism service business activities, and measures to ensure security and safety for tourists using services, products or participating in activities at business locations, contributing to building the image of a safe - friendly - hospitable destination in Da Nang city.
Strictly implement regulations on price registration, public posting and selling at the listed price of the unit's products and services; absolutely do not arbitrarily increase prices, force customers, cause price fever, negatively affect the image of the city's tourism industry.
Research and develop new tourism products, organize programs, check-in points and activities to serve tourists in combination with city events. Strengthen and maintain the implementation of environmental sanitation, waste collection, and clean, airy and aesthetic drainage systems. Ensure the quality of food and drinks and appropriate preparation and serving times.
Report on business situation and number of guests served by the unit before, during and after holidays to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism for synthesis and reporting to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the City People's Committee according to regulations.
For tourist accommodation establishments and service establishments that meet standards for serving tourists, in addition to the requirement to strictly implement the above instructions, they must also advertise the correct type and class of tourist accommodation establishments that have been recognized by competent state agencies.
Implement regular and periodic inspection, review, and maintenance of the entire system of facilities, equipment, amenities, and guest service areas to ensure good operation, safety, and readiness for service, paying attention to the fire protection system. Implement regulations to ensure absolute safety for guests when using recreational sports services, swimming pools, and beach bathing.
Monitor and ensure the tourism environment in the business area of the unit, do not allow street vending or soliciting of tourists right in front of and within the premises of the tourist accommodation, affecting traffic, the image of the destination and causing unsafety for tourists. Strictly prohibit snatching, overcharging, street vending, and harassing tourists.
Register and declare accommodation service prices on the city's online price declaration system. Publicly announce prices and service usage policies and post them publicly, clearly, and at the time of application so that guests know.
For tourist areas and spots, in addition to the requirement to strictly implement the above instructions, it is required to proactively inspect and review all facilities and equipment serving tourists; promptly repair, replace, and supplement to ensure quality, cleanliness, security, and absolute safety for visitors and workers. Absolutely do not use equipment and means that have not been inspected or are past the inspection period to serve tourists.
Arrange and employ trainers, technicians and tour guides with appropriate expertise. Review and fully install regulation boards in tourist areas and spots, safety instructions and danger warning boards in accident-prone areas; in case of damage, replace them promptly and place them in an easily visible place (multiple languages are encouraged).
Prepare adequate rescue equipment, fire protection equipment, medical equipment, and vehicles that meet licensed standards; at the same time, assign lifeguards to be on duty regularly at tourist areas, swimming pool areas, and places where guests participate in adventure sports and water sports activities to ensure guest safety and timely rescue. Do not organize for guests to use these services in bad weather conditions.
For travel agencies and tourism transport by road and inland waterways, in addition to the requirement to strictly implement the above instructions, it is also required to strictly implement the provisions of relevant laws to ensure road and inland waterway traffic safety; inspect and fully equip rescue, fire prevention and fighting equipment; regularly inspect and maintain equipment and tools serving customers to ensure service quality and absolute safety for tourists.
Strictly comply with the provisions of law on tourism business, tour guiding and tourist management. Use qualified tour guides according to the provisions of the Tourism Law 2017 and related legal documents to guide guests.
Review tourism programs, check and prepare carefully for tourist services, ensure absolute security and safety for tourists. Arrange vehicles and human resources, have support plans, guide and ensure attentive customer service.
Regarding the organization of waterway tourism services for customers, it is recommended that travel agencies and transport units regularly inspect, monitor and remind tourists to comply with safety regulations throughout the service; guide and disseminate safety measures to tourists before visiting and using the service...
