Da Nang calls for investment in waste treatment plant, total capital of more than 2,700 billion VND

The project of a 1,000-ton domestic solid waste treatment plant, with a total investment of more than VND 2,700 billion, is being called for investment by Da Nang city under the PPP method.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment of Da Nang City has just announced an invitation for businesses and investors to implement the project of a 1,000-ton domestic solid waste treatment plant under the PPP method at the Solid Waste Treatment Complex at Khanh Son landfill.

The 1,000-ton domestic solid waste treatment plant project will be implemented from 2025 to 2028, with a land use area of 53,768 m2. The expected project contract type is build-lease-transfer.

The project also contributes to ending new investments in domestic solid waste treatment areas using direct landfill technology; improving the capacity to treat domestic solid waste generated in Da Nang city.
