Da Nang: Promotion to stimulate shopping at the end of 2024

The 2024 year-end shopping promotion in Da Nang City will take place from November 25, 2024 to January 28, 2025 with many promotions and discounts on consumer goods.

On the morning of November 12, the Department of Industry and Trade of Da Nang City announced that in order to continue to effectively implement the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" and trade promotion programs and activities to develop the domestic market, stimulate domestic consumption; create conditions for people and tourists to access quality goods and services at reasonable prices, and have promotional activities, from November 25, 2024 to January 28, 2025, the Department of Industry and Trade will implement a promotional program to stimulate shopping (phase 2 of 2024) in Da Nang City.

Accordingly, units, businesses, and business households in Da Nang City that register to participate in the program will simultaneously have incentive and promotional programs for consumers when purchasing goods, products, and services. Promotional forms include: Lucky draw, gift giving with products, direct discounts on products, shopping vouchers... with a maximum discount of 100% of the total value of the promoted goods and services.

The stimulus program is also integrated into exhibitions, trade promotion programs, tourism , etc. in the city (for example, at the 2025 Da Nang Spring Fair).

In addition to promotional activities to stimulate the consumer market at the end of 2024, the Department of Industry and Trade of Da Nang City will simultaneously implement the program "National E-commerce Week and Online Shopping Day - Online Friday 2024" launched by the Ministry of Industry and Trade from November 25 to December 1, 2024.

According to the Da Nang Statistics Office, in the first 10 months of 2023, retail sales of goods in the city reached more than 61,992 billion VND, up 12.4% over the same period in 2023; total wholesale sales of goods are estimated at more than 130,154 billion VND, up 15.9% over the same period in 2023.
