Da Nang: A 37-story building was temporarily suspended due to fire prevention and fighting violations.

The building that was temporarily suspended from operation is Blooming Tower (Xuan Dieu Street, Thuan Phuoc Ward, Hai Chau District) because it did not meet fire prevention and fighting requirements.

On the afternoon of May 21, Da Nang City Police informed that they had decided to temporarily suspend the operation of Blooming Tower building (Xuan Dieu Street, Thuan Phuoc Ward, Hai Chau District) because the owner put the building into operation without a written approval of fire prevention and fighting. This violated Point C, Clause 1, Article 17 of Decree 136/2020/ND-CP dated November 24, 2020 of the Government .

Blooming Tower Da Nang project consists of 2 towers, each 37 floors high (not including the attic and basement) located along the Han River and overlooking Da Nang Bay. The project is built on an area of ^{​​10,700m2} , with a total investment of nearly 1,500 billion VND.

In the coming time, Da Nang City Police will continue to inspect and review fire safety conditions of many construction and business projects in the area and strictly handle violations when they are discovered.
