Da Nang prioritizes implementing many key and dynamic projects

According to the Da Nang City Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, recently approved by the Prime Minister, Da Nang will prioritize the implementation of a series of key and dynamic projects during the planning period.

Many transportation, tourism and commercial projects

According to the plan, there will be 7 projects invested and supported by the Central Government, including: the western beltway 2 (section from Road No. 8, Hoa Khanh Industrial Park to the end of the route); expansion and upgrading of the southern bypass of Hai Van tunnel; expansion of the High-Tech Park of Da Nang city (when the city is supplemented with planning indicators and land use plans); investment in the construction of Tho Quang fishing port and wholesale seafood market into a commercial center, fishery logistics services associated with tourism services (project to upgrade and expand Tho Quang fishing port, Da Nang city, phase 3); large fishery center of Da Nang city; technical center to support regional industrial development in Da Nang city and Da Nang University Village.

In the transport sector, many large projects will be implemented such as: Lien Chieu Port construction investment project - calling for investment in planned ports; projects in Da Nang International Airport, technical infrastructure in the north, construction of cargo terminal, expansion of T1 passenger terminal and construction of new T3 passenger terminal. Da Nang railway station relocation project, construction of new terminal and related infrastructure according to planning, renovation and development of Kim Lien station; renovation and upgrading of National Highway 14G.

Project across Han River (connecting from Dong Da Street to Van Don - Tran Thanh Tong); investing in the airport traffic connection route to the west and upgrading infrastructure to enhance the exploitation capacity of Da Nang International Airport; the route connecting from Nguyen Sinh Sac Street to Hoang Van Thai Street; the route west of Suoi Luong Eco-tourism Area, connecting route No. 7 of Lien Chieu Industrial Park with Ngo Xuan Thu Street; the route connecting the Western Ring Road to La Son - Tuy Loan Expressway (behind the High-Tech Park); the Western Ring Road 1 (the route between the Western Ring Road and the expressway connecting from Nguyen Tat Thanh Street (extended) through National Highway 14B near the Hoa Vang District Administrative Center and extending to the sea); route No. 9 connecting the High-Tech Park with the Western Ring Road; routes along Tuy Loan River, Yen River, Cau Do River.

Traffic junction cluster Le Thanh Nghi - Cach Mang Thang Tam - Thang Long - access road to Hoa Xuan bridge; bus stations in the north and west of the city; bridges across Tuy Loan river, Cai river, Cam Le river, Cu De river according to planning; investment in inland waterway terminals; parking lots in the city and research on large-volume public transport projects MRT (subway, high-speed), LRT (urban light rail) or similar forms... Particularly for technical infrastructure projects serving logistics, there will be 9 projects: Lien Chieu Port, Cargo Station (railway logistics); Hoa Hiep Bac new urban area; High-tech Park; Hoa Nhon dry port; Hoa Ninh; Hoa Phuoc; Hoa Phu; other airports and warehouses (on the bypasses of the highway, in industrial parks and clusters...).

Regarding tourism, there will be projects to renovate infrastructure, landscape, create some architectural highlights on the route and sandbank of Hoang Sa - Vo Nguyen Giap - Truong Sa; renovate infrastructure, embankments, landscape and create architectural highlights on the route and sandbank of Nguyen Tat Thanh road; invest in Sung Co and Ma Da destinations; Suoi Luong tourist area; tourist area east of Hai Van pass road; tourist area southwest of Hai Van pass road; Chim Chim hill eco-tourism area; tourist area west of Hai Van bypass road; project of river of light complex and inland waterway wharf; walking street Bach Dang - Nguyen Van Troi - Tran Hung Dao; night service area, commercial service area combined with underground parking lot, night service area in the boundary area of 4 routes Binh Minh 4 - Binh Minh 10 - Bach Dang - 2 Thang 9 road, separate night-time economic complex; Man Thai - Tho Quang community tourism area; Nam O community tourism infrastructure investment project; Hoa Vang community tourism infrastructure investment project; An Thuong tourist street phase 2; international culinary village; botanical and zoological park area of Dong Xanh and Dong Nghe lakes; cultural and historical theme park area...

Regarding trade, the following projects will be implemented: Con market; upgrading, renovating, expanding, rebuilding, and building new grade 1 markets (Han market, Dong Da market, Hoa Khanh market, Tho Quang market, etc.) and other markets in the area; Hoa Phuoc wholesale market; a specialized market for vegetables, tubers, and fruits in the west of the city; a logistics service area supporting wholesale markets and the wholesale industry in Da Nang city; a duty-free zone and accompanying services; a free trade zone, duty-free zones, and accompanying services; Da Nang International Exhibition Fair Center (grade A, new investment); an Outlet shopping center (area of 100 hectares, located on the Western Ring Road) and commercial centers and supermarkets in districts.

Complex projects, information technology

There are 10 complex projects, of which the most prominent are the Hoa Khanh Nam ecological urban commercial business center; An Don commercial business center (CBD); the commercial service complex combined with accommodation serving the Da Nang international fireworks festival; the Creative Space project in Hoa Xuan ward; the yacht production and service complex in Da Nang city... In addition, the marina and golf course projects will implement the following projects: upgrading and developing the Han River port into a tourist port; international marina; Da Phuoc international marina; Thuan Phuoc international marina (Thuan Phuoc bridge area, Son Tra district); the project to convert Tien Sa port into a tourist port (Tien Sa international yacht seaport); golf course combined with Hoa Trung lake tourism services; golf course combined with Hoa Lien - Hoa Bac tourism services; Hoa Phong - Hoa Phu hotel and golf course complex; Golf course combined with tourism services Hoa Phu - Hoa Nhon (end of Ba Na - Suoi Mo route).

Notably, in the field of information technology, industry, and industrial infrastructure, there will be dozens of large projects planned for implementation such as Viettel Da Nang Building; DanangBay Information Technology Park; projects under the "Digital Transformation" and "Building a Smart City" projects...; complex including Telecommunications and IT Data Center, high-tech research and development center, high-tech training center at Da Nang High-Tech Park; High-tech Data Service Research and Development Center - HTC Digital Park; automobile manufacturing factory project; yacht building factory in Lien Chieu Industrial Park; chip and biosensor manufacturing project; integrated circuit (IC) design and production project; projects in the field of robot design and manufacturing technology and industrial infrastructure projects such as: industrial clusters: Hoa Khanh Nam, Hoa Lien, Hoa Nhon...; Hoa Cam Industrial Park Phase 2; Hoa Ninh Industrial Park; Hoa Nhon Industrial Park... The city also invested in a series of technical infrastructure projects in the airport urban area; University Village urban area; high-quality sports center...
