On the morning of November 3, in Cao Thang village, Luc Hon commune, Binh Lieu district, nearly 100 non-professional actors participated in a performance of beautiful ethnic costumes on terraced fields. This program is part of a series of events of the Culture - Tourism Week, Binh Lieu Golden Season Festival 2024.
Each ethnic group in Binh Lieu district has its own traditional costume. The decorative art on ethnic costumes is also very diverse and rich, with unique shaping styles, motifs and techniques, which are unique symbols of the culture of each ethnic group. Each ethnic costume has a history of several hundred years and is popular in modern life.
However, many people do not know the changes of ethnic costumes to form a unique cultural feature, bearing the cultural characteristics and symbols of ethnic costumes. On the terraced fields, the yellow color of the rice fields combined with the colors of the costumes of the Dao Thanh Phan and Dao Thanh Y ethnic groups have created a unique beauty in Binh Lieu district. Images of the wedding boys and girls of the Thanh Phan Dao and San Chi ethnic groups are performed on terraced fields, allowing visitors to admire the beauty of ethnic costumes. In the wedding costumes of the San Chi ethnic group, the bride and groom wear indigo clothes, while the bridesmaids wear blue shirts and pleated skirts, with headscarves.
