Provincial People's Council delegates meet voters before the 2nd session

On July 21, the delegation of the Provincial People's Council had a meeting with voters in Gio Linh commune before the 2nd session (regular session in mid-2025), the 8th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026.

At the meeting with voters, the representative of the delegation of the Provincial People's Council reported on a number of contents, such as: The organizational structure and operation of the Provincial People's Council after the merger and consolidation; the contents to be presented at the 2nd session of the 8th Provincial People's Council; the results of socio -economic development in the first 6 months of 2025; the situation and results of the arrangement of agencies and units after the merger and consolidation. After listening to the report of the delegation of the Provincial People's Council, the voters of Gio Linh commune expressed their excitement and confidence in the management of the authorities at all levels; the innovation and improvement of the effectiveness of the Provincial People's Council's operations.

In addition, voters also had many comments and suggestions related to people's lives, such as: It is necessary to urgently complete the site clearance for the Eastern bypass project of Dong Ha city, the section passing through the old Phong Binh commune (now Gio Linh commune), so that the project can be constructed on schedule and meet the set goals; have a plan to thoroughly handle the problem of overload and environmental pollution at the waste collection site of the old Gio Linh district; invest in the construction of essential civil works for local people, etc.
