Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu, Director of Danang University: Human resources - Key to Danang's development in the new period

Over the past time, Danang University has always been a pioneer in human resource training, scientific research, knowledge and technology transfer, especially focusing on training digital human resources to meet the requirements of the new era.

Danang University has developed in both quantity and quality with more than 1,610 lecturers out of a total of more than 2,530 staff members. Among them are 6 professors, 129 associate professors, 800 doctors of science and doctors of science. This is a particularly important resource in solving scientific and practical problems arising in the process of socio-economic development of the country and the region.

Danang University currently has 7 member universities and affiliated units; the system of lecture halls, research centers and laboratories are gradually modernized... Besides the scale of facilities, Danang University affirms its position in training quality meeting national and international standards.

After the merger, Da Nang has many potentials and advantages to attract investors and key projects. This is also an opportunity for member universities to develop high-quality human resources, especially in key industries, high technology, and services that will create breakthroughs.

In order to best promote its role and mission, and make more positive and effective contributions to Da Nang, Da Nang University hopes that the city will continue to strongly support and express its voice to the Central Government to promote the implementation of the "Project to establish Da Nang National University". The establishment of a National University in Da Nang will be a breakthrough to make Da Nang city worthy of the status of "a major socio-economic center of the country and Southeast Asia; a center for startups, innovation, education - training and science - technology" as proposed in Resolution No. 43-NQ/TW.

Associate Professor, Dr. Vo Van Minh, Principal of the University of Education, Danang University: Training a generation of creative and integrated teachers

The University of Education (UED) is a multidisciplinary training institution, in which teacher training is the key. With the mission of training and fostering a team of teachers, educational managers, and experts in the fields of natural sciences, social sciences - humanities, and educational sciences, UED always identifies human resource quality as the top criterion.

The school not only focuses on teaching but also promotes scientific research, innovation, digital transformation; expands international cooperation, helping students have a global vision and adapt flexibly to new requirements.

In the context of innovation in general education programs, the requirements of digital transformation and international integration require teachers to be truly elite, creative and adaptable. The school considers this an important mission, both continuing to train high-quality human resources for general education and expanding into key sectors and fields that the city needs.

It can be said that the combination of Da Nang's development vision and UED's training quality improvement strategy will open a "new era": the era of training associated with social needs, the era of innovation and integration.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Van Huy, Rector of University of Economics, University of Danang: Strategic resources for an integrated city

The project on human resource development for the private sector in key industries and fields of the city until 2030, with a vision to 2045, emphasized: Higher education institutions must become the core force in providing highly qualified human resources, while contributing to the creation of creative and entrepreneurial urban areas. This is not only a favorable opportunity, but also a great political responsibility of universities in the area, including the University of Economics.

Faced with the new requirements of Da Nang, especially during the period when the city is promoting the construction of an International Financial Center and a Free Trade Zone, the school has identified three breakthrough directions: Developing elite, bilingual and internationally integrated training programs, associated with global professional certificates such as in the fields of accounting - finance, financial technology and sustainable finance (CFTE FinTech), international business & logistics (FIATA), to form a workforce capable of working in a global environment.

With that orientation, the school not only trains high-quality human resources, but also contributes to creating a capacity ecosystem, where knowledge is created, innovation is nurtured, and social responsibility is spread.

We are entering a new phase, which is also a new era of higher education. The urban scale is expanded, resources are concentrated, and the coordination mechanism is more synchronized; all of these create a series of opportunities for Da Nang to take off, becoming a new growth pole, especially in high-quality service areas such as international finance, financial technology, supply chain finance, logistics, e-commerce, etc.
