The 4th Congress of Ethnic Minorities in Muong Khuong District

After 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the 3rd Congress of Ethnic Minorities of Muong Khuong District, the programs and projects to support the economic and social development of ethnic minorities in the locality continue to be effectively implemented. The average economic growth rate of the district reached 8.6%/year; the average poverty reduction rate reached over 6%/year; the rate of ethnic minorities participating in health insurance reached 95%. In particular, 1,042 ethnic minority party members were admitted, bringing the total number of ethnic minority party members in the district to 2,521, accounting for 65.83%.

In the 2024 - 2029 term, Muong Khuong district strives to achieve an average poverty reduction rate of 7.1% per year for ethnic minorities; 50% of working-age workers will receive vocational training suitable to the needs and conditions of ethnic minorities and the characteristics of ethnic minority and mountainous areas...

The Congress elected a delegation of 21 delegates to attend the higher-level Congress and approved the Resolution of the 4th Congress in 2024.
