The 1st Congress of Delegates of the Provincial Border Guard Command Party Committee

Attending and directing the Congress were Colonel Tran Tuan Anh, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Border Guard; Colonel Nguyen Hoai Nam, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Military Command of Tuyen Quang province; leaders of the border communes of the province and 105 delegates representing over 700 party members of the Party Committee.

Colonel Tran Tuan Anh, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Border Guard, presented flowers to congratulate the Congress.

In the 2020-2025 term, the Provincial Border Guard Party Committee has thoroughly grasped and concretized the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and directives from superiors on military, national defense, and border tasks. Strictly maintained combat readiness, performed well the tasks of preventing, combating, and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters; actively participated in consolidating the grassroots political system, helping people reduce poverty. Labored to help people with 1,250 working days; upgraded 37 km of residential roads, built 2 Great Unity houses, and 12 Comrade houses.

Delegates voted to pass the Congress Resolution.

Propaganda for the people on the work of protecting sovereignty and border security was organized in 6,500 sessions, attracting over 278,000 people. Logistics, technical, financial and other work were led and directed resolutely, meeting requirements and tasks. Thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the principles of organizing Party activities. Build, consolidate and perfect grassroots Party organizations and improve the quality of Party members.

In the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee set out 10 main targets and 3 breakthroughs: Promoting the combined strength of all forces, improving the quality and effectiveness of research, assessment and forecasting of the situation of territorial sovereignty, political security, social order and safety on the province's border; promoting the application of science and technology, innovation, digital transformation and administrative reform, the "Digital Popular Education" movement in the entire unit; innovating and improving the quality of training, drills, building regulations, and complying with discipline and laws.

The Congress focused on discussing and contributing ideas to the Political Report of the 1st Congress of Delegates of the Provincial Border Guard Command; Political Report of the 19th Congress of Delegates of the Military Party Committee of Tuyen Quang Province, term 2025 - 2030. In the spirit of democracy, 100% of the delegates voted to pass the Congress Resolution.
