Group 338, Military Region 1 is an economic -defense group that performs the tasks of management, reserve training, combat readiness, and participation in socio-economic development, taking charge of Mau Son economic-defense zone, Lang Son province.

In the 2020 - 2025 term, the Party Committee has thoroughly grasped and strictly implemented the resolutions, conclusions, directives and regulations of the superior Party Committees; led the unit to complete the goals set out in the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress of the Youth Union; economic - defense projects were deployed on schedule and with good quality.

Delegates vote to elect the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of Youth Union 338 for the 2025 - 2030 term.

Notably, the unit has invested in the construction of Mau Son Economic - Defense Zone, Lang Son province (phase 2) with a total investment of 90 billion VND including: 3 traffic works; 2 irrigation works; 5 domestic water supply works. Investing 25.6 billion VND to support projects and models of livestock and cultivation, helping people develop the economy. At the same time, concretizing the movement "Group 338 joins hands to build new rural areas"; "Group 338 joins hands for the poor, leaving no one behind", mobilizing over 700 cadres and soldiers to participate in mass mobilization work and building new rural areas.

The delegation mobilized cadres and soldiers to support funds launched by the locality in the new rural construction program with an amount of nearly 135 million VND; repaired schools, supported student desks and chairs, built village cultural houses worth over 200 million VND; supported the construction of the Memorial House for Heroic Martyrs at the Viet Bac Armed Forces Museum with nearly 45 million VND; visited and gave gifts to policy beneficiaries and families in especially difficult circumstances with a total value of over 425 million VND...

At the congress, delegates focused on discussing and clarifying the achieved results, frankly recognizing and pointing out the existing shortcomings and limitations, and at the same time proposing solutions to continue to effectively deploy and implement the goals and tasks set out in the congress resolution for the 2025-2030 term.
