The first Congress of the Farmers' Association of Co Do Commune was a great success.

HNP - On September 19, the Farmers' Association of Co Do commune successfully organized the 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025-2030, with 150 delegates representing nearly 8,000 farmer members in the whole commune.

The 1st Congress of the Farmers' Association of Co Do Commune, term 2025 - 2030, has the task of comprehensively, objectively and honestly assessing the situation and results achieved, clearly pointing out the advantages, limitations, causes and lessons learned from the practical implementation of the Association for the term 2023 - 2028 (from the beginning of the term to the time of the Congress); determining opportunities and challenges in the next 5 years, setting out directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the Association's work and the farmers' movement for the term 2025 - 2030; discussing and contributing draft documents to the congresses of the Farmers' Associations at higher levels.

The political report presented at the Congress showed that, during the past term, implementing the movements: "Farmers compete in production, good business, unite to help each other get rich and reduce poverty sustainably"; "Farmers in the Capital join hands to build new countryside, civilized urban areas"; "Farmers participate in environmental protection"; "Farmers with digital transformation"..., the Farmers' Association of Co Do commune has had many typical models, creative ways of doing things and advanced examples in labor and production.

The Association has maintained 29 old economic models and built 58 new models: Pig and cow breeding model, high-quality rice growing model, pomelo growing model, and integrated livestock model. Supported scientific and technical training, and loan support for the model with an amount of 40 million VND.

The movement of good farmers in production and business has been actively responded to by cadres and members. Every year, the Commune Farmers' Association has launched emulation campaigns to 100% of branches and groups and has received enthusiastic participation from members. As a result, from 2023 to 2025, 4,461 members have registered for good production and business at all levels, achieving 100% of the assigned target.

In addition, the Association also mobilized members and people to donate land to build rural roads, build sewers, drainage ditches, and build gates in residential areas. The Commune Farmers' Association also clearly identified the importance of building a Farmers' Support Fund, doing a good job of managing the funds of the Farmers' Support Fund at all levels, with a total amount of nearly 13 billion VND.

Speaking at the Congress, the leaders of the Hanoi Farmers' Association and Co Do Commune highly appreciated the results achieved by the cadres and members of the Co Do Commune farmers in the past term. They emphasized that in this term, the Co Do Commune Farmers' Association needs to focus on implementing key tasks: Continuing to implement Resolution No. 46 of the Politburo on innovation and improving the quality of activities of the Vietnam Farmers' Association.

The Congress approved the decision of the City Farmers' Association to appoint the Executive Committee of the Association and Ms. Vu Thi Quyen, Vice President of the Commune Fatherland Front, was appointed to hold the position of President of the Farmers' Association of Co Do Commune for the 2025-2030 term.
