The 20th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Yen Chau district

On June 20, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Yen Chau district held the 20th Congress of Delegates for the 2024-2029 term.

Attending the congress were leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; leaders of Yen Chau district and 152 delegates representing more than 83,000 people of all ethnic groups in the district.

In the 2019-2024 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in Yen Chau district have coordinated with the government and member organizations to effectively propagate the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; consolidate, strengthen and promote the strength of great national unity.

People actively participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns; emulate learning and creative work. Responding to the movement "For the poor - No one is left behind", every year, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district presides over the launch of the peak month "For the poor". During the term, the whole district mobilized more than 13 billion VND, supported the elimination of 1,194 temporary houses; mobilized more than 1.9 billion VND from the "For the poor" Fund, built and repaired over 120 "Great Unity" houses for poor households. Member organizations have had many programs of activities, calling for and mobilizing society to care for and help union members and members in difficult circumstances, people with disabilities, orphans and vulnerable people in society...

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district coordinated with the National Assembly delegation of the province to organize and chair 5 meetings with voters; coordinated with the provincial People's Council delegates to organize 20 meetings with voters; organized 520 meetings with the People's Council delegates of districts, communes and towns, with over 10,405 voters attending. Collected 645 opinions and recommendations from the people to send to competent authorities for resolution...

In addition, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district and its member organizations have coordinated to mobilize cadres, union members, association members and people to contribute 243 million VND, build 163 poles and lighting lamps in residential areas; pour concrete on 103km of internal roads; donate 6,530m2 of land, 4,689 working days to build infrastructure, develop the economy , support poor households, build cultural institutions, protect the environment...

With the theme "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", for the 2024-2029 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Yen Chau district and its member organizations continue to innovate the content and methods of operation in a specific, practical, flexible and creative direction. Focus on mobilizing resources to support the "For the Poor" Fund, striving for over 50% of enterprises and cooperatives in the district to participate in support; 100% of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the district sign and well implement the regulations on coordination of activities between the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the People's Council, People's Committee and related units at the same level...
