The 10th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kim Son district

In 2 days (May 12-13), the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kim Son district held the 10th Congress of Delegates, term 2024-2029.

Attending the official session of the Congress were comrades: Dinh Viet Dung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Hoang Ha, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. Also attending were leaders of the district, departments, branches, and organizations of Kim Son district and 167 official delegates of the Congress.

Over the past 5 years, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kim Son district has focused on innovating the content and methods of operation; completing and exceeding 10/10 targets set by the Congress for the 2019-2024 term.

Propaganda and mobilization work to gather all classes of people was focused on; the great national unity bloc, solidarity between religions and non-religious people, and social consensus were strengthened. The people's right to mastery was promoted; campaigns and patriotic emulation movements continued to be widely deployed, achieving high efficiency.

The work of supervision, social criticism, and giving opinions on Party and government building has been effectively carried out; the work of caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the people has received attention.

Some outstanding results in the past 5 years are: The district Fatherland Front mobilized people from all walks of life to contribute more than 130 billion VND, donated over 89 hectares of land and 100,000 working days to participate in new rural construction; received and distributed over 6,000 gifts worth over 7 billion VND to support people in difficult circumstances; built 24 new Great Unity houses, 13 houses of Solidarity between Catholics and Catholics; supported 137 "Overcoming difficulties to go to school" scholarships; mobilized donations to support people in the Central region to overcome the consequences of storms and floods of over 2.5 billion VND; built the "Repaying gratitude and social security" fund at the district level of over 2.5 billion VND, at the commune level of over 4.5 billion VND...

The 10th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kim Son district — Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Nguyen Hoang Ha gave a speech at the Congress.

Speaking at the Congress, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kim Son district, Nguyen Hoang Ha, commended and congratulated the achievements of the Fatherland Front at all levels in Kim Son district in the past term.

Suggesting some important contents in the 2024-2029 term, the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province suggested that the Fatherland Front at all levels of Kim Son district should continue to consolidate and promote better its role as a political alliance, a "bridge" between the Party, the State and the People; effectively implement emulation movements, campaigns... to attract and gather people from all walks of life to participate in local socio-economic development; continue to improve the effectiveness of social supervision and criticism.

With the theme "Solidarity-Democracy-Innovation-Development", the Congress democratically consulted and elected 65 members to join the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kim Son district for the 2024-2029 term. At the first conference, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district for the 2024-2029 term consulted and elected the Standing Committee, Chairman, Vice Chairman and Standing Members. Mr. Nguyen Minh Truong (Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district, term IX) was trusted and continued to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district, term X, term 2024-2029.

The congress also consulted and elected a delegation to attend the 12th Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2024-2029 term. At the same time, it set out the directions and tasks for the new term: Promoting democracy; strengthening the great national unity bloc; uniting religions and non-religious people; building Kim Son homeland to develop comprehensively.
