The first Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chieng An Ward, term 2025-2030

On October 15, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chieng An Ward held its first Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term. Attending the Congress were leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, leaders of Chieng An Ward and 94 outstanding delegates representing the people in the ward.

After the merger, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chieng An ward and socio-political organizations were strengthened in terms of organization and personnel, ensuring stable operations, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new period.

During the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the ward closely coordinated with the government and member organizations to propagate and mobilize people to effectively carry out patriotic emulation movements and major campaigns. The movement of the entire people uniting to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas achieved many positive results: Chieng Den commune (old) achieved advanced new rural standards in 2024; Phieng Ngua village was selected to build a model new rural village.

Social security work has been paid attention to, the Fatherland Front of the ward mobilized the "Fund for the Poor" to raise over 109 million VND, supporting the construction of 19 houses for poor and near-poor households, with a total value of nearly 1 billion VND. Gratitude, humanitarian and charitable activities have received positive responses from the people and businesses. Every year, the rate of "cultural families" reaches 92%; 100% of groups and hamlets achieve the title of "cultural groups and hamlets". Social supervision and criticism work is carried out regularly; the role of the Front in participating in Party and government building is clearly promoted, contributing to strengthening the great national unity bloc in the area.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chieng An Ward set out 12 key goals: Striving for 100% of the ward's Front officials and Heads of the Front's Working Committee to be trained in professional skills and work skills; 100% of the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels to participate in digital transformation; over 80% of the Front's Working Committees to apply information technology and social networks in organizing activities; 100% of residential areas have Zalo groups for information on the Front, at least 50% of activities have digitalized archives... Along with that, the ward strives for 100% of residential areas to do a good job of protecting the environment, sorting waste at source, planting trees, towards developing "green, sustainable urban areas".

The Congress elected 55 delegates to join the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chieng An Ward, term I, 2025 - 2030. The Congress also elected 3 official delegates and 1 alternate delegate to attend the first Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Son La province, term 2025 - 2030.
