Promoting the tradition of "Volunteering - Bravery

Celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Association's founding (2005-2025) and the 75th anniversary of the Vietnam Youth Volunteer Force's tradition day (1950-2025).

At the meeting, the delegates reviewed the heroic history of the Vietnamese Youth Volunteer Force (YV) and its contributions to the glorious victories of our army and people in the two long resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism to save the country. Together with the Youth Volunteer Force nationwide, thousands of Son La Province Youth Volunteers were present on all routes to the battlefields; enthusiastically fighting, digging mountains to open roads, ensuring smooth traffic in all situations, transporting tens of thousands of tons of goods, weapons, and food to the battlefields, contributing to the great victories of the nation.

The Son La Provincial Association of Former Youth Volunteers was established in 2005 and currently has over 1,600 members. Since its establishment, the work of the Provincial Association of Former Youth Volunteers has always maintained order, gradually developing steadily in both organization and quality of activities. The Associations at all levels have proactively followed the direction of the Central Association and the province, regularly innovating the content and methods of operation in accordance with the actual situation; focusing on gathering and uniting members, building a strong association organization.

The activity of “comradely love” has always been considered by the Provincial Association of Former Youth Volunteers as a regular task, demonstrating the spirit of humanity and deep sharing among the membership community. From 2005 to now, the Association has coordinated to mobilize resources to give away nearly 2,000 gifts with a total value of over 700 million VND, give over 20 savings books to members in difficulty with an amount of over 100 million VND, and repair and build 50 new houses with a total cost of over 2.9 billion VND...

Promoting the tradition of "Volunteering - Bravery - Loyalty", in the coming time, the Provincial Association of Former Youth Volunteers will continue to promote its role as a historical witness, proactively coordinate with state agencies to resolve policies for members; promote traditional education activities, gratitude activities, and gratitude activities; effectively carry out patriotic emulation movements, help each other eliminate hunger, reduce poverty, strengthen comradeship, and consolidate and build a strong association.
