On February 25, the Youth Union of Tan Dan Ward (Nghi Son Town) held its 4th Congress of Delegates for the 2024-2029 term. This is the unit directed by the Nghi Son Town Youth Union to organize a model congress to draw experience for units in the town.
The 4th Tan Dan Ward Youth Union Committee was introduced to receive its duties.
Attending the congress were comrade Truong Ba Duyen, Standing Deputy Secretary of Nghi Son Town Party Committee; representatives of leaders of departments and branches of the town; leaders of the Town Youth Union, Youth Union of Nghi Son town; leaders of Tan Dan ward, and 61 official delegates.
Tan Dan Ward currently has more than 1,700 young people, accounting for nearly 24.7% of the population. The number of young people participating in local activities is 493, gathered in 9 branches, the youth solidarity gathering rate is 67.5%.
During the past term, the Ward Youth Union has promoted the movements "I love the Fatherland"; "Tan Dan Youth love the country, bravery"; "Tan Dan Youth live beautifully, live usefully" with many rich, diverse, exciting and attractive forms. The implementation of the campaign "Sentimentality of the Fatherland's Border" and the movement "For the friend joining the army" has been focused on implementation. 
The Town Youth Union Committee presented flowers and a map of the One Country Movement to congratulate the congress.
The campaign "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas" has been widely deployed, gradually strengthening solidarity among the youth. Propaganda and mobilization work for youth members to comply with the law has also been focused on. During the term, 5 legaleducation classes were opened with more than 300 youths participating in the study; 38 specialized branch meetings and legal propaganda sessions were organized with more than 1,000 youths participating.
Volunteer activities for community life are organized in a diverse and widespread manner, attracting a large number of union members and young people to participate. The ward Youth Union has proactively coordinated with departments, branches, unions, higher-level unions and volunteer groups to visit and give gifts to policy families; households, teenagers and children in difficult circumstances with 136 gifts, totaling 78.9 million VND.
In addition, the movements "Tan Dan Youth are physically healthy, have solid skills, and proactively integrate into the international community", the program "Accompanying Tan Dan Youth to establish a career"; the program "Building a strong Tan Dan Ward Youth Union" were promoted. During the term, the Association introduced 66 outstanding youths to the Union for consideration of admission. Activities in the branches continued to shift from simple activities to types of groups and teams based on interests, thereby contributing to promoting sustainable development of the local socio -economy.
Comrade Tran Thi Ngoc Anh, Secretary of the Town Youth Union, President of the Town Youth Union gave a speech at the congress.
With the slogan of action: "Solidarity - Creativity - Courage - Volunteerism - Development", in the term 2024-2029, the Youth Union of the ward continues to promote the spirit of vanguard, promote the movements of the association, participate in contributing to building a civilized urban area, a model ward, and strengthen propaganda work in the fields of culture, politics and ideology.
Strengthen and improve the quality of the Association's activities through diversifying forms of gathering young people, strengthening education, creating a pure ideological foundation for young people, caring for and accompanying young people in establishing themselves and their careers, promoting the pioneering and volunteering role of young people, participating in local socio-economic development; actively participating in building a strong union.

The Congress consulted to elect 11 delegates to the Youth Union Committee of Tan Dan Ward, term IV, 2024-2029; consulted to elect 3 official delegates to attend the Congress of Youth Union of Nghi Son town, term 2024-2029.
Immediately after the Congress, the Nghi Son Town Youth Union organized a meeting to draw experience to direct the organization of the next Congress of the Youth Union at the commune and ward levels in the town to take place successfully.
