Yen Bai - On December 20, at the Department of Health, the 4th Congress of the Vietnam - France Friendship Association of Yen Bai province, term 2024 - 2029 was held. Attending the Congress were leaders of the Department of Home Affairs, Department of Planning and Investment, Department of Finance, Provincial Social Insurance, 38 official delegates representing 81 members of the Vietnam - France Friendship Association of Yen Bai province.

During the past term, the foreign affairs work of the people of Yen Bai province has achieved encouraging results, playing an important role in implementing the province's general foreign policy. The Vietnam - France Friendship Association has received the attention and direction of leaders at all levels, the active support of provincial friendship organizations and the active contributions of its members. The association's activities have been deployed and implemented, bringing practical results to the people; contributing to consolidating and developing the friendly and cooperative relationship between the people of Vietnam and France in general and between the people of Yen Bai - ValderMarne in particular, while contributing to the socio -economic development of the locality.
At the Congress, delegates discussed and approved the Charter and Regulations of the Association. At the same time, they discussed and agreed on the direction of the Association's activities for the period 2024 - 2029. Accordingly, the Association will strengthen information and propaganda work on solidarity and friendship between Yen Bai province and international organizations, people-to-people diplomacy, apply digital technology platforms; innovate and improve the effectiveness of peace activities, solidarity, friendship and cooperation, promote and improve the effectiveness of foreign non-governmental aid mobilization, foreign information to coordinate the mobilization of funding for programs and projects of the province to consolidate and develop the organization...
The Congress elected 11 individuals to the Executive Committee of the Vietnam - France Friendship Association for the 2024 - 2029 term, and elected 5 individuals to the Standing Committee. Comrade Nguyen Song Hao - Deputy Director of the Department of Health was elected as Chairman of the Association for the 2024 - 2029 term.
