The 2nd Congress of Thanh Hoa Province Cinematography and Photography Association

On the morning of December 15, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Film and Photography Association held its 2nd Congress for the 2024-2029 term, with the participation of 31 official delegates.

During the last term, the Association has actively promoted and organized activities to enhance exchanges, connections and improve the qualifications of its members. In particular, the Association has opened 6 exhibitions about Thanh land and people, produced over 1,200 news, articles and photos to serve the political tasks of the province; opened 3 classes on film and television for members of the Association in the mountainous districts of Thach Thanh, Lang Chanh, Ba Thuoc...; completed 2 yearbooks: Yearbook of the Congress of Delegates of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, term XIX, term 2020 - 2025, built the Yearbook of the Election of the National Assembly and Provincial People's Council, term XVIII, term 2021 - 2026; Organize field trips to record vivid images throughout Thanh Hoa province, to promote and contribute to preserving the beautiful image of Thanh land and people... Through its activities, the Association has actively contributed to the implementation of the task of press communication.

At the same time, the association focuses on developing members, increasing the total number of members to 70 people.

From 2022, the Association is a member of the Thanh Hoa Union of Science and Technology Associations.

At the congress, delegates listened to a report summarizing activities for the 2019-2024 term and directions for activities for the 2024-2029 term; a review report of the Executive Committee for the 2019-2024 term; and a financial report.

Speaking at the congress, delegates focused on issues such as: developing membership, diversifying association activities in the coming time, proactively creating funding sources for the association...

On this occasion, the collective and individuals of the Association were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in the 2019 - 2024 term.

The Congress elected 19 people to the Executive Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Cinematography and Photography Association for the 2024 - 2029 term. Mr. Hoang Van Hung was re-elected as Chairman of the Association.
