Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Gia Thinh commune, term 2024-2029

On the morning of December 28, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Thinh commune held a congress for the 2024-2029 term. This is the unit chosen by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Vien district to organize a model congress.

In the 2019-2024 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Thinh commune regularly innovates the content and methods of operation, constantly consolidates and promotes the strength of the great national unity bloc; actively propagates and mobilizes people of all walks of life to implement the guidelines, policies, laws of the Party and State, and local conventions and village covenants.

Therefore, patriotic emulation movements and campaigns launched by the Commune Fatherland Front have been actively participated in by all classes of people, contributing to promoting economic development, solving social problems, building new rural areas, and reducing poverty in the locality.

Typically, the Commune Fatherland Front and its member organizations have mobilized people from all walks of life in the commune to support over 150 million VND for the Gratitude and Social Security Fund; donated over 1,200 m2 of land, contributed over 4,000 working days and nearly 800 million VND, built and upgraded 2 village cultural houses, poured concrete over 60 km of village roads; 100% of residential areas in the commune were recognized as cultural residential areas and over 90% of households were recognized as cultural families...

Up to now, the average income of people has reached 60 million VND/person/year; political security and social order and safety have been ensured; local defense and military work in the area has been maintained...

Promoting the achieved results, in the 2024-2029 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Thinh commune sets out 8 targets, 5 key tasks and 3 breakthroughs. In which, it continues to strongly innovate the content and methods of operation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the commune; diversify forms of propaganda, mobilization and gathering to build and firmly consolidate the great national unity bloc; well perform the function of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people; promote democracy, strengthen social supervision and criticism; prevent and combat corruption and waste, actively build a clean and strong Party and government; strengthen social consensus, promote socio-economic development, maintain and improve the quality of new rural criteria, strive to become an advanced new rural commune.

With the spirit of solidarity, democracy, creativity and development, the Congress consulted and elected 45 comrades to join the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Thinh commune for the 2024-2029 term and the official delegation to attend the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress of Gia Vien district for the 2024-2029 term.
