The 6th Patriotic Emulation Congress of Lang Son province

- On the morning of September 18, at the Provincial Conference Center, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lang Son province solemnly held the 6th Provincial Patriotic Emulation Congress, period 2025 - 2030.

Promoting the tradition of patriotic emulation, over the past 5 years, the patriotic emulation movement in Lang Son province has developed strongly, spreading widely in all areas of social life. The organization and launching of emulation movements are increasingly innovative, rich in content, diverse in form, attracting a large number of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, armed forces, union members, association members and people from all walks of life to participate. In the period of 2020 - 2025, the whole province has 283 collectives and individuals awarded at the State level; more than 11,000 collectives and individuals awarded at the provincial level. Advanced examples, works, models, initiatives, good practices are summarized and replicated, contributing practically to promoting the socio -economic development of the province. In particular, the patriotic emulation movement has made an important contribution to the revolution of reorganizing the apparatus, streamlining the payroll, and building a two-level local government model in recent times.

Speaking at the opening of the congress, comrade Ho Tien Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council affirmed: The 6th Provincial Patriotic Emulation Congress is an opportunity to summarize and comprehensively evaluate emulation and reward work; commend and honor outstanding collectives and individuals in the emulation movement for the period 2020 - 2025; determine directions and tasks for the coming time; create momentum to build a clean and strong Party and political system; promote socio-economic development; strengthen national defense and security; promote border gate advantages, effectively mobilize resources, strive to build Lang Son into a growth pole of the Northern Midlands and Mountains region by 2030 and a well-developed province by 2035.

During the program, typical advanced representatives shared good practices in implementing patriotic emulation movements in the fields of: new rural construction, border protection, cybercrime prevention, social security, production and business development, high-performance sports, etc.

Speaking at the congress, comrade Nguyen Thi Tuyen, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of the Vietnam Women's Union, member of the Central Emulation and Reward Council, acknowledged and expressed positive Results in the patriotic emulation movement and emulation and reward work of Lang Son province.

Speaking at the congress, Comrade Doan Thi Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, requested all levels, branches, agencies and units in the province to continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the Party's guidelines and the State's laws and policies on emulation and rewards; strengthen the leadership and direction of Party committees and authorities, especially the responsibility of leaders.

At the congress, the Organizing Committee announced and awarded the Labor Medal and Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to outstanding collectives and individuals in the patriotic emulation movement and skillful mass mobilization in the period of 2020 - 2025. The congress approved the list of 12 delegates of Lang Son province to attend the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.
