On the evening of March 24, the final round and award ceremony of the Mister Universe Tourism 2024 contest took place at the Bali Nusa Dua Theater, Indonesia.

Mister Universe Tourism has 8 contestants

This is the 5th time the Mister Universe Tourism contest has been held, with the stated purpose of promoting responsible tourism in the new era.

The contest featured 8 contestants from: India, Fiji, Netherlands, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Uganda and Indonesia.

It can be said that this is an international competition but the number of participants is very small.

Candidates perform in the following competitions: national costume, swimsuit, evening gown (vest), and behavioral competition.

Each contestant showed his or her strengths through the competition completely. Although the number of contestants was small, the program lasted nearly 2.5 hours. The reason was that there were quite a lot of advertisements inserted.

The Mister Universe Tourism 2024 stage is held in a theater, so the catwalk is a horizontal line across the stage, not helping the contestants demonstrate their performance skills.

The livestream of the final night was continuously muted due to copyright infringement of background music inserted into the contestants' performances.

In the end, Chien Yu Chen from Taiwan won the top spot in this year's Mister Universe Tourism contest. Chien Yu Chen is a volleyball player for the Taiwanese national team.

The titles of 1st and 2nd runner-up were awarded to Larz Kent Dawson (Philippines) and Chitrakanan Singh Thoudam (India) respectively.

In addition, the organizers also awarded five additional prizes. Of which, Chien Yu Chen (Taiwan) won two prizes including best national costume and best swimsuit.
