With the desire to develop and increase the value of agricultural products, Mr. Vu Phuc Vang (born in 1988) in Nam Chinh commune (Nam Sach) has invested in a modern machinery system to produce and supply dry vermicelli and dry pho products to the market.

For the traditional production process of dried vermicelli and dried pho, vermicelli and pho are dried in the sun, but they are only effective on sunny days. In addition, drying vermicelli and pho outdoors is also difficult to ensure food hygiene and safety. Realizing this, the production and business model of dried vermicelli and dried pho was developed by Mr. Vang in early 2022. He invested in an automatic, closed production line of dried vermicelli and pho to ensure productivity, help reduce the burden of labor, transportation costs, meet market demand and quality, and ensure food hygiene and safety.

Mr. Vang's facility has the advantage of abundant local raw materials. The production process of Phuc Vang dry vermicelli and dry pho is strictly controlled and monitored. The main ingredient for production is rice, carefully selected and purchased from many households in the province. The application of modern technology, no preservatives in the production process is the "key" to making the difference for the product, this is also the startup idea that helped Mr. Vang enter the semi-finals of the "Rural Youth Startup Project" Contest in 2023 organized by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union . The finished product is thin and flat pho noodles, small round noodles, when cooked, the noodles and pho have a moderate softness and toughness, combined with many different ingredients to create delicious dishes, rich in nutrients. In 2023, the dry vermicelli and dry pho products produced by Mr. Vang's facility were recognized as 4-star OCOP.

Currently, each month, Mr. Vang's facility supplies the market with 7-8 tons of dried vermicelli and dried pho. The main consumption market is in the provinces and cities in the Northern region. In the coming time, he will continue to expand the product consumption market.
