
On the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), on the morning of May 19, Dak Glong district simultaneously organized the launching ceremony of "Tree Planting Festival to forever remember Uncle Ho" in 2025, combining concentrated afforestation and scattered tree planting in localities.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee Trinh Anh affirmed that planting trees and protecting the environment is a practical and urgent task, contributing to creating a green - clean - beautiful landscape, improving the quality of life and responding to climate change.

This is an activity of profound political , social and environmental significance, demonstrating the morality of "remembering the source of water", continuing and spreading the teachings of beloved Uncle Ho "For the benefit of ten years, plant trees, for the benefit of a hundred years, educate people".

Immediately after the launching ceremony, a large number of cadres, civil servants, public employees, armed forces, union members, association members and local people participated in planting more than 2,300 scattered trees, mainly pine and star trees, in public areas and forestry land.

The launching ceremony aims to mobilize the active participation of forest owners, organizations, individuals and all people in the movement of planting trees and protecting forests. Thereby, gradually forming the habit of preserving the ecological environment, building the image of a green - clean - sustainable Dak Glong.
