Dak Lak builds pilot 3 inter-level boarding schools in border areas

According to the Department of Education and Training, Dak Lak province has three inter-level boarding schools in three border communes (Buon Don, Ia Rve, Ia Lop) to be built on a pilot basis in 2025 and completed in 2026.

Specifically, upgrading and expanding the existing facilities of Nguyen Trai Primary School and Tran Hung Dao Secondary School into a boarding school for primary and secondary schools in Ia Lop commune, with a cost of about 105 billion VND; upgrading and expanding the existing facilities of Nguyen Thi Dinh Secondary School into a boarding school for primary and secondary schools in Ia Rve commune, with a cost of nearly 127 billion VND; investing in the construction of a new boarding school for primary and secondary schools in Buon Don commune, with a cost of more than 158.6 billion VND.

A working group from the Department of Education and Training surveyed the school construction site in Ia Lop commune.

Currently, the Education sector is coordinating with relevant departments and sectors to ensure progress in building primary and secondary boarding schools.

It is expected that the Buon Don Commune Primary and Secondary Boarding School will start construction in October 2025 and be completed before August 30, 2026.

It is known that Dak Lak province has 4 border communes adjacent to Cambodia's Mondulkiri province: Buon Don, Ea Bung, Ia Lop and Ia Rve.
