Dak Nong won gold medal at the Traditional Martial Arts Club Championship...

The 14th National Traditional Martial Arts Club Championship in 2025 was held in Thai Nguyen province. The tournament gathered 40 clubs from 32 provinces and cities nationwide, with more than 700 athletes, coaches, team leaders and national referees. The athletes competed in 120 events, including 33 combat events and 87 boxing events. The tournament took place from April 20 to April 30, 2025.

Dak Nong delegation had 3 athletes participating in the competition. As a result, athlete Dang Quynh Bich, female 60kg weight class won the gold medal in the combat event; athlete Vi Van Duyet won the silver medal in the male 51kg weight class in the combat event.

The tournament aims to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and International Labor Day (May 1). The tournament is also a basis for assessing the level of traditional martial arts coaches and athletes, as a basis for building future development plans; creating opportunities for traditional martial arts clubs nationwide to exchange, learn experiences, build a united, innovative and developing traditional martial arts community.
