(GLO)- On the morning of April 24, at the communal house of Krong Hra village (Yang Bac commune), the Women's Union of Dak Po district ( Gia Lai province) coordinated with the Women's Union of Yang Bac commune and the Golden Heart Club of An Khe town to organize many meaningful activities.
Accordingly, the Dak Po District Women's Union presented 13 gifts (VND300,000/gift) to poor and near-poor households in Krong Hra village (Yang Bac commune). The District Women's Union presented livelihoods to 2 poor member households in Krong Hra village (2 goats/household) with a total value of VND6 million; of which the District Women's Union and the Women's Unions of 8 communes and towns supported VND4.5 million, and the households contributed VND1.5 million.
The District Women's Union also launched the Yang Bac Commune Gong-Folk Dance Club with 31 members.

In addition, the program also organized a "Zero-VND booth" with bread, cakes, soft drinks... for children and women in the village; free haircuts for people and children.
On this occasion, the Dak Po District Women's Union awarded prizes for the contest "Application of information technology in organizing union activities". The first prize went to the Executive Committee of the Women's Union of An Thanh commune; the second prize went to Phu An commune, the third prize went to Cu An commune. Four consolation prizes went to the collective of Ha Tam commune and the following individuals: Ms. Trieu Thi Luyen - Vice President of the Women's Union of Ya Hoi commune, Ms. Bui Thi Minh Duong - President of the Women's Union of Phu An commune and Ms. Ho Thi Thu So - Vice President of the Women's Union of Cu An commune.
