The Lam Dong Provincial Interdisciplinary Steering Committee on Food Safety and Hygiene has issued a plan to inspect food safety before and during the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival in 2024 and New Year's Eve in 2025 in the province.

Accordingly, the Provincial Interdisciplinary Steering Committee on Food Safety and Hygiene established two interdisciplinary inspection teams to conduct inspections at food production and trading establishments and food service establishments in the province.
In districts and cities where activities serving the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival - 2024 take place or where national highways pass through, the Inter-sectoral Steering Committee on Food Safety and Hygiene of districts and cities shall establish inspection teams at the district and city levels and direct and guide relevant communes, wards and towns to carry out inspection work in the area according to decentralization. Coordinate with provincial inspection teams to ensure overlap is avoided.
For the remaining districts, the Inter-sectoral Steering Committee on Food Safety and Hygiene has a plan to ensure food safety for the 2025 New Year.
The implementation period is from November 1 to December 31 in the whole province. In particular, focusing on inspections at venues holding events and activities of the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival - 2024 and New Year's Eve 2025, tourist stops, and tourist attractions.
The purpose of the inspection is to strengthen the leadership and direction of state management agencies in the field of food safety; mobilize the participation of all levels, sectors, organizations and individuals involved in the production, processing, trading of food, catering services and street food in the province in ensuring food safety to limit cases of food poisoning for guests, tourists and people participating in the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival - 2024 and New Year's Day 2025. Minimize food poisoning incidents occurring during the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival - 2024 and New Year's Day 2025.
Strengthen propaganda on food safety before and during the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival - 2024 and New Year's Eve 2025; propagate to people, food production and business establishments, food service businesses, street food to raise awareness in ensuring food safety. Focus on propaganda to raise awareness, knowledge, attitudes, and practices on food safety for organizations and individuals producing, processing, and trading food, especially establishments participating in events, food service businesses, street food in the areas where the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival - 2024 and New Year's Eve 2025 will take place.
Diversify forms of propaganda, mobilize media channels in propaganda,education , and raise awareness of the importance of ensuring food safety. Publicize establishments and individuals who have been administratively fined for food safety violations to warn, deter, and prevent illegal food production, trading, and advertising.
