On the afternoon of October 15, Phu Yen Power Company held a ceremony to celebrate the company's 35th anniversary (October 15, 1989 - October 15, 2024). Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Block Tran Huu The, leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade, Binh Dinh Power Company and leaders, officers and employees of Phu Yen Power Company attended.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Huynh Quoc Long, Director of Phu Yen Power Company said: After 35 years of construction and development, Phu Yen Power Company has highly concentrated its resources to implement major programs and goals assigned by the Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee of Phu Yen Province, and Central Power Corporation. The Company has completed the reception of the rural low-voltage power grid, directly selling electricity to 100% of households from the national power grid; investing in renovating and expanding the power grid, ensuring that 100% of communes meet criterion number 4 on electricity in new rural construction.
To date, the total power capacity in the province is 665.15MW, more than 90 times the capacity in 1989 (11.4MW), more than 3.4 times the maximum capacity in 2024 (195.3MW). The average growth rate of commercial electricity in the period 2021-2025 is about 6.42%/year. Power loss is decreasing, by 2023 it is 2.72%, down more than 17% compared to 1989...
Currently, the company has digitized the management of power grid operations, digitized rooftop solar power data, connected SCADA, unmanned 110kV transformer stations. Electricity meter data is automatically collected through the RF-Spider system, DSPM, and index data pairing. The customer care application has been improved with a lot of useful information, cashless electricity payment, etc.
Over 35 years of construction and development, Phu Yen Electricity Company has managed and operated the power grid, ensuring power supply for socio-economic development, national defense and security and the daily needs of people in the whole province; has been highly appreciated by Party committees, authorities and organizations at all levels, and has awarded many excellent emulation titles to collectives and individuals of the unit.
On this occasion, Phu Yen Electricity Company awarded 11 individuals who have made many contributions to the company's development over the past 35 years.
