Ensuring electricity and telecommunications conditions for the Ha Long Carnival 2025 program

Ha Long Carnival 2025 will take place on the evening of May 1st at the Sun Carnival Square stage area, Bai Chay Ward. Up to this point, all technical work, including electricity and telecommunications conditions, has been completed, ready to bring residents and tourists a spectacular, eye-catching program.

To ensure power supply for the program, the production unit mobilized 5 generators with capacity from 60KVA to 850KVA. Ha Long City Electricity also conducted a comprehensive inspection of transformer stations, handled defects and points at risk of heat generation on the power lines. Strengthened inspection of high-voltage grid safety corridors and handled underground cables supplying power to central areas. At the same time, developed a detailed power supply scenario for areas where entertainment activities and accommodation for tourists in the city took place.

Regarding telecommunications conditions, it is expected that there will be over 100 mobile stations of Viettel, VNPT, Mobifone to serve this year's Carnaval program. Of these, about 75 stations will be newly installed by network units in square areas, parade areas, DJ stages and other nearby locations.

In addition, network operators have also proactively upgraded the core network system structure to expand transmission bandwidth; organized backup optical transmission directions for broadcasting stations and live television to ensure that communication is not interrupted in the event of a problem. Broadcast stations have also been upgraded to accommodate 40,000 subscribers at the same time. In addition, the units have also arranged a team of highly skilled technicians to be on duty at the main stations and event areas, ensuring service quality and bringing the best customer experience when participating in the Ha Long Carnival 2025 event.
