According to the report of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, in order to create a source of construction materials for large projects such as the Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai Expressway, Ring Road 4 and works using public investment capital, the province has identified a number of planned mining areas, giving priority to implementation on land managed by the State to shorten the time for carrying out procedures and ensure the supply of materials.
Specifically, there are 4 mines included in the implementation plan including: SHBĐ 28 stone mine, Tan Hoa commune, area 77.5 hectares, reserves of about 15.5 million m³; SHBĐ 214-C landfill mine, Cau Khoi commune, area 26 hectares, reserves of 8.88 million m³; SHBĐ 211-C landfill mine, Ninh Thanh ward, area 74 hectares, reserves of 3.12 million m³; SHBĐ 224-C landfill mine, Tan Thanh commune, area 80 hectares, reserves of 6.4 million m³.

Delegates give opinions
Implementing the direction of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Resolution of the Government on specific mechanisms and policies to remove difficulties in implementing the Law on Geology and Minerals, the province assigned the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board to be the investor to organize the exploration and reserve assessment of the above-mentioned mines; at the same time, assigned the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to preside over and coordinate with relevant units and localities to urgently compensate and clear the land to create a clean land fund, promptly serving the progress of key projects.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Lam emphasized that the early completion of exploration procedures, licensing and site preparation at mining sites is an urgent requirement to ensure the source of materials for key projects in the province. He requested departments, branches and localities to coordinate closely, clearly assign responsibilities, both to ensure compliance with legal regulations and to speed up the implementation progress.
